Mr. Wayne Joseph Westbrook, 75, of D'Iberville, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home.Wayne was born on December 7, 1941 to Charles Westbrook and Evelyn Swansine.He was a graduate of Ocean Springs High School. A HVAC engineer, he retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. Wayne also served his country in the United States Navy. He was a beloved husband, father, paw paw and brother.He enjoyed playing his music and played in the Shades of Blue Band. He also enjoyed dancing.Wayne is joining his parents and brothers, John Lynn and Dennis Charles Westbrook.He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sharon Bellais Westbrook; daughter, Ellen and her children, Henry, Kathleen, and Kristen Kuehn; son, Wayne (Carla) Westbrook II and their children, Mary Claire, Wayne III, and Grady Edward Westbrook, and step-granddaughter Savannah Smith, and siblings, Theresa Ettinger, Larry, Michael, Glenn, and Kevin Westbrook.Wayne will also be missed by his extended family, his stepson and wife Bud and Melissa Garrett; step grandchildren, Kim Miller, Stephanie Miller, Jeff Miller, and Sierra Plata; step great grandchildren, David "Mickey" Murray, Saylor Roberts, and Jansyn Walker, and special grandchildren, Michael and Joslyn Hafner, Isabella, Angelia, and Vivian Lu, and Kelsey and Jack Boyd.In keeping with Wayne's wishes, there will be no visitation.
