Obituary for Curtis Doyle Crosby

Curtis Doyle Crosby, born on May 16, 1947, in Prentiss, died on March 19, 2017, in Gulfport, at the age of 69.

Mr. Crosby was a resident of the Larue Community and a member of Larue Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orbie Gene and Burnett Crosby; his brothers, Gary Crosby, James Crosby, and Donald Crosby and his sister, Mary Louise Spivey.

Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife of 38 years, Beverly “Sue” Crosby; his children, Robert Crosby, Kelli Almeda, Connie Dubuisson, Curtis Crosby, Jr., Jerry Alexander, Jr., and Gene Crosby; his siblings, Wayne Crosby and Annie Davion; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 6pm at Larue Baptist Church, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.

Southern Mississippi Funeral Services is serving the Crosby family.
