Obituary for Brenda Joyce Williams (Hutcherson)

Brenda Joyce Williams, 66, of Biloxi, passed away on May 8, 2017.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Rayford Williams; her sons, Rayfaird and Ben Ray and their spouses; her daughters, Brenda Zorich, Amanda Forehand, Rachel Purvis, April McKee, and Betty Wilson and their spouses; twelve grandchildren; her brothers, Winford Hutcherson and Preston D. Dennis and her church family and countless friends.
Brenda dedicated her life to serving others. During the early 90s with the help of Pastor James and Betty Springer she established a food pantry at First Pentecostal Church of Biloxi (FPC). She volunteered at Twelve Baskets Food Bank and for her dedication and hard work, she was named Volunteer of the Year by the City of Biloxi. From 1996 until 2010, she worked full time for Twelve Baskets Food Bank obtaining the position of Assistant Director. She worked tirelessly to feed the hungry of the Gulf Coast. In 2015, Church Alive (formerly FPC) renamed its food pantry, The Brenda Williams Food Pantry in her honor.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Church Alive PGC, with a homegoing service to follow. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
