Mr. James Rodney Blevins, 59, of Gautier, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Pascagoula.
Rodney worked at Tech Welding Inc in Pascagoula for 15 years.
He loved NASCAR Racing, especially Ryan Newman and collected NASCAR memorabilia. He enjoyed the Florida Gators and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
He will be best remembered as a loving and adoring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Terri Blevins of Gautier; children, James Rodney Blevins, Jr. (Christy) of Bay St. Louis, Wendy Star Blevins, Jennifer Blevins Guchereau (Bryan) of Picayune, Jeffrey Blevins (Ashley) of Picayune; step children, Seleana and Shane; parents, James and Shirley Blevins; sisters, Vickie, Valerie, Susie, and Debbie; grandchildren, Austin, Riley, Madilyn, Kendall, Carter, Clark, Vivian, and Freya. He is also survived by his loving chihuahua, Rosie who brought him a lot of comfort and joy.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services. A celebration of life service will be celebrated at 7 pm.
