Jo Ann “Josie” Loga, 72, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed peacefully in her home in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, on July 20, 2017 at 9:32AM, while cared for and comforted by loved ones. Josie now joins husband Bruce Loga Sr., parents Juliet and Frank Mancuso, sisters Alice Sampere and Theresa Messenger, as well as brothers Albert, Bill, John and Michael Mancuso. Remaining are brother Joseph Mancuso, children Juliette Cuccia and David Main, along with seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Josie enjoyed life and lived it. She loved being with family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Traveling and group dancing were her joys. She was kind, a good listener, hard working, sociable, and beautiful. She shared a contagious laugh, was very caring of others, and supportive to those having tough times. She also loved a good steak dinner, always very well done.
A service for family and friends will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2241 Longfellow Road, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, for 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 27, 2017. Flowers are welcomed, and should donations be preferred, Josie was a supporter of St. Jude Research Hospital.
