Mr. Kenneth Ray Sellers, Sr. age 81 and a resident of Vancleave, died on Thursday, August 17, 2017, in Biloxi.
Kenny had many hobbies which included woodworking, furniture making, reading and spending time as a Mason with the Vancleave Chapter of Masons. His passion though was building street rods. He built his 1923 Model T and spent many days cruising the coast in it. He was also a Master Mason with the Vancleave Chapter of Masons. As a young man, he served in the U.S. Army and then retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after working there for 38 years.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Sellers; his parents, James and Mary Sellers and his brother, Jimmy Sellers.
His survivors include his daughters, Deby (Chris) Craft, Angel (Carlos) Barbosa, and Holly (Dale) Morris; his son, Kenneth Sellers Jr.; his brother, David (Janet) Sellers; his granddaughters, Shannon Sellers, Tiffany Bosarge, and Jenna Morris and his grandsons, Kendall Noble, Aaron Bosarge, and Colton Sellers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2017, from 5pm until 7pm at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services in Ocean Springs and again from 11am until service time on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services in Ocean Springs with Rev. Mary Stewart officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in Biloxi National Cemetery.
