Mr. Stanley Nicholas Bosarge, Sr., age 79 and a resident of Biloxi, died on August 24, 2017, in D’Iberville.
Mr. Bosarge was a native and lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and he served in the U.S. Army. He retired as a longtime employee with the City of Biloxi working in various departments and he was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Davenies, Sr. and Lillian Seymour Bosarge; his wife, Paula G. Bosarge; his sisters, Hazel Griffen, and Marie Seymour and his brothers, Davenies Bosarge, Jr., Alton Bosarge, and J.C. Bosarge.
Mr. Bosarge is survived by his sons, Nick (Peggy) Bosarge and James (Vanessa) Bosarge; his sisters, Alma Letort and Betty Seymour and his grandchildren, Adam Bosarge, Haley Bosarge, and David Bosarge.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 12:30pm at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs. Family and friends may visit from 11am until service time. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
