Mr. Gary Wayne Hudson, 65, of Ocean Springs, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Ocean Springs.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother who will be sadly missed. He married Margaret Ward Hudson on May 17, 1973 until her death in 2001. Gary worked as a car salesman, a truck driver, a tour bus driver, and a wonderful cook!

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ward Hudson; parents Frank T. Hudson and Wilma Viola Roark, and brothers, Frank Hudson, Jr., and Barry L. Davis.

Survivors include his daughters, Christie Hudson Resendiz (Steve) and Diane Hudson Standerfer (Mark); siblings, William E. Hudson, Richard Lee McKnight, Rebecca Ann Millea, Sue Carol Mauney, Rita Carol Walls, and Lisa Kay Oliver (Lindsay); eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He is also survived by his best friend David Lewis and chocolate Chihuahua, Coco.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39564. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until service time.

The family will receive friends for a reception following the service at the Colonnades Clubhouse, 4901 Riley Road Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39564. All are invited to attend.

He will be loved and missed who will be forever in our hearts!
