Horace "H.P." Gaudet, 80, of Pensacola, formerly of Biloxi, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Pensacola.

Mr. Gaudet was born on August 11, 1937 in Biloxi to the late O'Neil and Leah Gaudet. He worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) and retired after 30 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, O'Neil and Leah Gaudet.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lei Gaudet; children, Neil (Barbara) Gaudet, Michael (Rebecca) Gaudet, Karen Stanley and Teresa (David) Gaudet; sisters, Oberia Hawkins and Harriett Severnson; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and two great grandchildren on the way.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Lung Association, www.lung.org

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Greg Barras at 11 am on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 177 1st Street Biloxi, MS. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park under the direction of Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.
