Obituary for Greg "Pillsbury" Boling

Greg “Pillsbury” Boling, 52, of Perkinston, passed to his heavenly home on Monday, April 9, 2018 at home surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer.


He loved trucking and spent many years driving over the road, he has been employed with Warren Paving for the last 15 years. He worked hard to provide for his family and has always been the rock of the family.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Audrey Boling of Gulfport; father in law, Harold Clinton; sister Carol Roberts of Brookhaven, and granddaughter Miley Emma Boling of Biloxi.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 35 years, Melda E. Boling; children, Nathan (Melissa) Boling of Perkinston, Megan Boling of Biloxi, Aundrea (Bryan) Lassere of Perkinston, Raven Goff of Perkinston, Macee, Mackenzie, McKinley, and Bentley Boling all of Perkinston; mother, Betty Brown; sisters Linda (Sonny) Beason, Paula (Dennis) McCullough all of Brookhaven, Patty (Matthew) Cospelich, Pam (Henry) Taylor and Peggy (Eddie) Camp all of Gulfport, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great nephews, several he considered like children and grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to his extended family at Warren Paving, to Randy Baragar, James Reed, Rusty Burgess, and Dusty Johnson who were friends but more like brothers to him. The family would like to thank the nurses from Southern Care Hospice for the exceptional and compassionate care.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services with interment following in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
