Obituary for Thomas Hansel Evans

Thomas Hansel Evans, 76, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on May 8, 2018. Thomas was born in Eastman, Georgia on October 1, 1941, the seventh of nine children. He grew up in Eastman and joined the U.S. Air Force in March of 1963. After basic training he was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi. While there he met his future wife, Judith (Judy) Lane Raymond of D'Iberville. They were married on September 1, 1967 and were husband and wife until Judy preceded him in death on January 7, 2011.

Tom is survived by his older brother Earl Evans of Gainesville, Florida. He is also survived by his two children, Julie Evans Jones of St. Martin, Mississippi, and Brian Evans of Houston, Texas. Tom has four grandchildren, Emilee Burke of St. Martin, Mississippi, David Stewart of Vancleave, Mississippi, Patricia Evans of Houston, Texas, and Brianna Evans of Biloxi, Mississippi.

There will be a private service at a later date.
