Mary Philley, 77, of Gautier, died Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Pascagoula.

She was a family lady who took care of her children and grandchildren. She was a hard worker who was full of love.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Lillar Hood; husband, Wendall Philley; daughter, Diane Bray, and brother, John Hood.

She is survived by her son Michael Philley; brothers Bobby Ray Hood, Joe Arnold Hood, and Jimmy Hood; sister, Minnie Mae Pace; grandchildren, Angelina Adkins, Chris Philley, Mike Philley, Lori Keener, Johnathan Bray, and Clyde Harris; 16 great grandchildren, and a great great grandson . She is also survived by a special son in law, John Bray.

The family will receive friends from 9 - 10 am on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services with funeral services following at 10 am. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Lucedale under the direction of Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.
