Ms Velma McKenzie, 93, of Pascagoula, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Pascagoula.

She loved travelling, meeting with friends,and playing Bingo! She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harrison McKenzie; son, David McKenzie; parents, George and Callie Walker; sister, Lois Walker; sister and brother in law Lettie and McDermot; and brother, Horace Walker.

Survivors include her children, Wanda and James Bullock, Christine Turnage, Ramona Turnage, and Pat Arms; brother Sam McKenzie; eleven grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

Ms. McKenzie will be laid to rest at Williamsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Covington County at a later date.
