Obituary for Aubrey Cleo Quinn

Aubrey Cleo Quinn,84, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Woolmarket.

He was born on June 12, 1934, to the late Bryan Jennings Quinn and Marie Reginia Bush.

He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Francis Barrett Quinn; sisters, Nancy Pollock, Magdelena Fansler, and Dorthy Quinn.

Aubrey worked as a upholsterer in high school and also worked on cars and motors. He worked at the shipyard in Norfolk where he met and married Mary. He retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of service in Biloxi MS. he was also stationed in Japan, Anchorage, AK; Goose Bay, AK; Sacramento, CA; Austin, TX; Merita, Ga; Oceanside, CA, where he was at Camp Pendleton. He loved the casinos, winning and a game of chance held his interest. He loved to collect unique things and cars.

He is survived by his 6 children, Marjorie (Carles Nunley) of Abingdon, VA; Patricia (Shawn Kostmayer); Robert John Quinn; Jerry Wayne Quinn (Ann-Mary); David Allen Quinn and Alicia Van Roy; Donna Lynn Quinn and Christopher Hebert.; 13 grandchildren; Jessee, Candace, Jeremiah, Nathan, Amber, Mathew, Jerry Jr., Zachray, Kyle, Dillion, Tyler, Chloe and Mary to be born on Feb. 8 great grandchildren; Jacob Alyssa, Maggie, Ethan, Jace, Miley, Riley, and Redford. pallbearers are grandsons and great grandson.
