Obituary for Paul Shannon Brady

Paul Shannon Brady, of Woolmarket, MS passed away on June 6, 2019. Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed boating and fishing. He was also skilled in carpentry and was often referred to as Mr. Fix It and MacGyver. He was a man of many talents; an inventor, a poet, and a machinist. Paul was a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints.

He was a dedicated employee of Dupont for 38 years, where he was a Commissioning Maintenance Technician.

Paul is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Bettie Russell Cussen and John Paul Cousins; his paternal grandparents, I.W. Brady Sr. and Ruby Sullivan Brady; and his mother Paula Cussen Brady; and mother-in-law, Mildred (Millie) Vancamp.

He is survived by; his father, Issac Walter Brady, Jr.; his wife of 9 years, Michaela (Mikki) Jane Brady; father-in-law, Gerald (Jerry) Vancamp; children; Karren Nelson (Jeremy), and Jody Riggins (TJ); his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Brady of Gulfport, Scott C Brady ( Guinn) of Pensacola, and Cassi McGee (Chris), also of Pensacola; his 5 grandchildren, Joel Nelson, Aiden Nelson, Jacob Griffin Safford, Blake Riggins, and Carson Riggins; nieces and nephews, Madeline Elizabeth Angela Rogers Biedron (Dan), Catherine Amy Corine Coston, Daniel Ray Griffin (Rachel), and William Caldwell (Cecilia); grand neices and nephews; Austin Garrison, Cooper Garrison, Daniel Griffin, Scarlett Griffin, Molly Griffin, Alanna Caldwell, and Luke Caldwell; as well as his boy, "Rocky" the squirrel.

Paul Brady was a one of a kind man who will be sadly missed and always remembered by so many.

Memorial service to be held at The Great Southern Club in Gulfport, MS on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 from 12:00pm-3;00pm. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to ABTA.ORG to support research and cure Glioblastoma (GBM).
