Virginia Mae Turner, age 76 and a resident of Vancleave, died on July 2, 2017, in Ocean Springs.
She was a native of Hebert, Louisiana and a graduate of Columbia High School in Monroe, Louisiana. She retired from Singing River Hospital as Director of Radiology and later retired a second time from Vernon W. Doster's office. She received her X-Ray Tech License from EA Conway Hospital in Monroe. She was also a member of McClellan Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Turner; her sister, and brother-in-law, Josephine and Sam Cook; her brother, Carl McLemore and her granddaughters, April and Bailey Turner.
She is survived by her children, Jenna Hildebrand (Pete,) Craig (Tina) Turner, Julie (Mike) Simone, Kelli (Gary) Taylor, Allen Turner (Christy,) and Barry Turner (Brandi;) her siblings, Blanche (Dale) Hubbard, James (Lynette) McLemore, Ronney (Marsha) McLemore; her grandchildren, Trista, Jesse, Christy, Jessica, Katie, Sydney, Andrew, Mckenzie, and Hannah and a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tuner will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
