Obituary for Richard Biesiadecki
Richard John Biesiadecki of Pass Christian, Mississippi (formerly of Bartlesville, OK and Newport Beach, CA) passed away at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi on Sunday, Dec 3, 2017, at the age of 80.
He was born August 12, 1937, to John Peter and Isabella P. Biesiadecki of Rockville, Connecticut. He was a graduate of Rockville High School. He studied at the University of Connecticut, and earned a BS from
U. of Nebraska, and a MBA from Florida State University. He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the US Air Force having served as a pilot and an electrical engineer, specializing in electronic warfare. He earned many medals of commendation including the Distinguished Flying Cross, The Meritorious Service Medal, and The Air Force Commendation Medal. After his career in the Air Force, he was employed by Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon Electronics.
He was a Member of First Baptist Church of Bartlesville, OK. He loved fine dining, music, learning, investing, traveling, and adventure, but most of all he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 34 years, Lillian Roth, and stepdaughters Tina and April Negro.
He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Naffziger of Cheyenne, WY; his children, Anne (Chuck) of Pass Christian, Richard (Julie) of Wildwood, MO, James (Brandi) of Bartlesville, OK, and Christopher of McAllen, Texas; his grandchildren, D. L. McPheeters, Erin Pergola, Caleb Biesiadecki, William, Biesiadecki, Ansley Biesiadecki, Chandler Biesiadecki, Carly Biesiadecki, Warren Biesiadecki, Haley Biesiadecki, and Molly Biesiadecki and his great grandchild, Landon Pergola.
He will be buried at the National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi in a private family service.
