Alan Ray Wilson, age 51 and a resident of Vancleave, passed away after a long struggle with heart complications on September 26, 2017, in Ocean Springs.
He was born on January 29, 1966, in Biloxi, to Roy Wilson and Fay New. Alan is known as one of those rare people who was always willing to give more than he could in order to provide and care for those around him. As both a shrimper and trucker, he loved life and family. All will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Wilson.
Alan is survived by his children and grandchildren; Roy Wilson and his wife Ashley Wilson and their children, Hunter and Harper, Cindy Wilson and her son Grayson, Katherine DeCoito and her children, Austin, Maleah, Elijah and Ava and his sister, Angie Perry and her husband Mike.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 6pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 401 Holcomb Blvd. in Ocean Springs.
Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs, served the Wilson family.
